Back Bacon

Anyone know where I can buy real back bacon in the Concord area? If it's good, I'd drive a half hour or so to get it :)

I'm recently back from the UK and I'd like to make my own "English Breakfast" with all the fixin's. (Don't tell my doctor, though; she's worried about my cholesterol levels.)

Am I right that 'back bacon' is Canadian bacon? If so,w e get ours at Costco--perhaps not every costco has it, but the one here in Richmond does and it is GREAT. The great thing about Canadian bacon is that it is exceptionally lean.

I just looked...the package actually says 'Canadian back bacon'.

In theory, Canadian bacon is "back bacon" but what I've had labeled as "Canadian bacon" in the US isn't what I get when I'm in the UK.

I don't know how to describe what I mean. Can anyone help?

The kind we bought at costco is thicker than most I've tried before. It's better than any I've had before, so maybe it's more like what you are looking for?
